MechE Professors Named “Highly Cited Researchers”
Professors Tonio Buonassisi, Gang Chen, Yang Shao-Horn, Evelyn Wang and Xuanhe Zhao, along with MechE alumnus Hyunwoo Yuk, have been named “Highly Cited Researchers” for 2024 by Clarivate, a data analytics company.
Individuals named as Highly Cited Researchers have demonstrated significant and broad influence in their field of research, the Clarivate website states.
Each researcher selected has authored multiple papers which rank in the top 1 percent by citations for their field and publication year. Citation activity, combined with qualitative analysis and review by experts for evidence of community-wide recognition, are among the selection criteria.
